It can spawn anywhere in the stromgarde ogre-controlled section. I have seen this book many times, mostly when I didn't have the quest yet and sometimes when I was actually looking for it. The most common I'm not trying to imply here that this is the end-all, be-all of locations is the top Tower of the ogres usually spawns by the top chest or nearby or in a fireplace. I have seen it ALL over the place in fireplaces but the most common one is on the east side, 2nd level before you reach the tower.

If you are level 60 and you probably really should be doing this quest line , you can probably have an easy time searching for the book with no aggro. I practically stood on top of the ogres there and they didn't even notice me, so as long as you're somewhat careful you should be able to search in peace and ride out. Good luck, all. I found it once on the ogre side and I forgot I was in a raid group and the book disappeared.

After looking for another 15 minutes I got frustrated and decided to check the places where I thought there is no chance it would be. I just raced to the top of the tower and lo and behold there it is. All the ogres chasing me gave up and I ended up only having to kill 2. So if you cant find it the tower might be a good place to check. Comment by Thottbot It appears this book can be in any of the 3 sections of Stromgarde. I found mine in the Syndicate-controlled section, inside an inn on the 2nd floor.

In summary: 1 Books can be found in fireplaces in any section of Stromgarde 2 The book could be in one of the burnt-down houses, inside one of the intact ones, or at the top of the Tower of Arathor 3 The book is a bright red and is difficult to miss. It will be inside the fireplace, so be sure to look straight into it so you don't miss it The only place I'm not sure it could be is the inside the keep.

Co-ordinates won't help you any more than simply finding 'Stromgarde Keep' and searching for it. It can be in plain sight, it can also be in the upper floors of the buildings.

By the sounds of it, it can also be on the floor of the tower. It won't take more than 15 minutes to find, as a level 60, just aggro the minimum amount of things, search the visible ones on horseback; then search the buildings you can enter on foot. Good luck! I checked everywhere in the ogre place even the top of the tower and nothing. If you are having trouble check the fireplace in the closed building on the syndicate side. I have a 70 Warlock, so it was not a big problem because my pet could do physical damage to them, they don't have very many hit points, if you are good with a staff or sword you should be able to melee them! Dam Recipe didn't drop for me Comment by Thottbot I am farming this boss to try and get the Flask of Supreme power recipe. The fastest way to get to him is like this: You should be level You must be a Warlock! And have an Invisibilty potion. Enter the Scholomance instance, get out your voidwalker, and put a soulstone on yourself. Jump down into the room with the door that requires the Viewing room key, and then use sacrifice.

You will agro all the mobs so you must be quick. Wait for the other mobs to leave, and then ress. Use you Invisibilty potion straight away! Now run as fast as you can past all those dragon whelps and you should become visible on the stair case just after the room.

Go down, get out your Voidwalker and start killing the Risen construct's, the best way it to place on Curse of Agony, and Corruption, then just heal you voidwalker with the Health channel. You do not need to clear the entire room, so pull "Rattlegore" when it is sensible, same strategy for him, try not to get agro, grab the viewing room key.

Now you must die, so take off all your clothes to save on your repair bill. Once you dead run back into the instance with the key. Jump down again into 1 group of mobs, clear the room and continue to Ras Frostwhisper! I managed to do that all in under 30 minutes.

So it saves some time. And once your done, you soulstone will be reset for you to try again. Obviously if you die accidently when killing Rattlegore, you have failed and must wait for you Soulstone cooldown : I know this is not at all useful to anyone except a Warlock, but thought I would mention this anyway!
