Why do middle easterners have big noses

From my experience light skins makes features bigger, more clumpy and less defined than dark skin. In addition dark skin can hide wrinkles, acne, spots etc. There are many Caucasians with small noses too like Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie, but my point was that many European people also have big noses while Middle-eastern have small - so the caricature doesn't make sense.

There's a huge variety among both Europeans, Middle-eastern etc. I've personally seen more Caucasians with bigger noses than Middle-eastern, but it's mostly elderly people regardless of where they comes from who've big noses.

Angelina Jolie's nose isn't natural. She had a massive nose before plastic surgery too.. Angeline Jolie has an averaged sized nose - but is relatively small. I've noticed a lot of caricature drawers tends to draw big noses on Middle-eastern and Afghan characters although people there doesn't tend to have bigger noses than people from rest of the world. It doesn't represent real life. There are a lot of Arab refugees in my country, but most of them have quite small noses and faces. Most individuals I've seen with big noses are Europeans and elderly people. Most Middle-eastern people I've seen have small noses and these ones with a little bit bigger ones tends to live in Israel.

I'd say Middle Eastern people do tend to have a big nose as in, it's not unusual but it's not any bigger than European Balkan noses dinarized noses or some Baskid noses and they're definitely smaller than Jewish noses. As for North Africans I think we tend to have smaller noses than middle Easterns on average but still kinda varies. Just like this exist. It's a cartoon for pete's sake.
