Why do electronics freeze
A lot of times we think of how to protect ourselves from the cold, but have you ever thought of your electronics? According to experts, hard drives can be the most vulnerable to cold temperatures. The reason being is that the lubricants that keep the platters spinning can thicken up when chilled. According to experts, if those platters are not able to spin as designed it may affect your device by not booting properly or data written to the drive can be totally wiped out.
For example, you buy a new gadget, it gets delivered, but sits on your front porch in cold temperatures. Well on a day when temperatures are below freezing, that time your device spent in the cold can affect the device. Before opening it, experts say the best thing to do is to let the device warm up to room temperature slowly before activation.
Did you know that the cold weather can affect those electronics? In this episode of the breakdown, we explain how cold weather can affect the electronics that you rely on each and every day.
Hard drives in computers are especially susceptible to issues when they are cold. The lubricants that keep the platters spinning freely can thicken up when chilled, which in turn can cause it to not function properly. Condensation is another killer for cold electronics in areas with high humidity.
The human nervous system is chemical and electrical in nature having neurotransmitters that are electronic impulses. Not everyone is a Slider because not everyone encounters the factors that might have caused the person to become one. According to some theorists, people who have lived on other planets in their previous lives will be born on earth having different energy and abilities, including the Slider phenomena.
However, if this electrical phenomena happens following a death of a loved one, it might indicate that the Spirits are attempting to communicate with the bereaved loved ones. Psychics can transmit as well as receive energy from other electrical systems due to their sensitivity to high-energy environments and situations.
A heightened awareness develops to spiritual awakening where the awakened person comes to the awareness of things beyond the dense physical reality.
We have spent a lot of time talking about how heat can lead to failure in your electronics but rarely is cold ever mentioned. Keeping your electronics cool is normally a good thing, and a lot of effort is spent doing just that — through fans, heatsinks and air conditioning.
But if the weather gets extreme — some unexpected failures can occur. Just like when your glasses will fog up when you come in from cold weather, moisture will build on surfaces inside the plant when temperatures go from very cold to very warm.
Electronics that suffer this build-up of moisture can have failures related to corrosion. You should put them back on the device and perform a backup first. This will save the all the info to your account.
I'm trying to find out if there is a selective restore available This link may be of interest. SD card I purchased said it's only for pictures and videos, and that SD cards don't have a way to save the app? I may have been told the wrong advice or since I bought it on wish. If that's the case let me know what I need. It doesn't discriminate between music, pictures, videos, apps, files etc.
To it data is data. The only caveat is that sometimes when trying to directly store to the SD card when filming videos having a Class 10 SD Card is better than say a Class 4 SD card it should state the number on the card as Class 10 cards are quicker. If you are trying to move apps to the SD card to create more space in the internal storage of your device, the app option of 'Move to SD Card" may not be available on some apps.
This depends on whether or not the app's developer has enabled this option when the app was first developed or created if you like. It has nothing to do with the device or the SD card. To stop my tablet 4 7. After a couple uninstalls reinstalls of Facebook and Messenger, it was working better. But started freezing every now and then. I uninstalled both again for a few hours.
When I went to reinstall Facebook, there was an update that hadn't been there! Also uninstalled some apps that were " Gifts" from Galaxy I had no use for. I'm thankful a Hard Reset wasn't needed!! But I'm prepared if I must do it in the future!
Glad you got it fixed. By 'prepared' I hope you also mean that you are making regular backups so that it will be easier to restore in the future. I got Galaxy tab s sm-tv and have the very same problem! Touchwiz freezes.
I never had facebook installed though I have messenger. I am so disappointed. Any clues pls??
